INFORMATION FOR FUNDERS AND EMPLOYERS The Arts in Health Programme consists of three units: Arts and Groupwork; An Introduction to the Arts Therapies and Applied Arts in Health. Areas covered include: drama therapy, play therapy, music therapy, art therapy, voice and movement. The focus will be upon the needs of clients identified by course participants. The Arts in Health Programme is a basic introduction to a range of arts and arts therapies by qualified tutors who run their own professional practices. You will have access to: Dryw's library of arts and arts therapy books, videos and documents. The courses offer an experiential introduction to the theory and practice of a range of therapeutic art forms as outlined below. They are intended for all interested applicants and particularly those who work in Health, Social Services, Education, Probation and Prison Service,Voluntary Services or the Expressive Arts. Also for students or graduates wishing to develop their career pathways. Each course involves 60 hours Group contact time plus additional private study. Participants will gain Open College Network credits at level 3. Applicants must be 18 years or over and are required to fill inan application form subject to which they will be invited for an interview. This is an OCN award winning introductory Arts in Health programme accredited by the Open College Network. We are a registered training provider with DoLL sponsored by Coleg Menai.
